    New research uses confidential federal statistical system data to address novel economic questions concerning farm household behavior and agricultural production activities, and two policy-oriented discussion papers, one focusing on current and newly available NASS/ERS data products, and a second focusing broadly on recent policy initiatives to promote greater data access and data sharing across federal statistical agencies, and related challenges and opportunities for researchers. In the New Frontiers for Agricultural Economics Research Using Data from the U.S. Federal Statistical System, session taking place as part of the 2021 Hybrid AAEA & WAEA Joint Annual Meeting experts discuss via zoom.
